Hybrid: Brain Gym and Life posture

Objective: to raise awareness and experience how our physical posture influences our Life, our perception and our Presence to ourselves.
It influences our inner weather, how we perceive ourselves, how we perceive our environment and others, how we transmit and receive information, our relationship, the access to our resources, our own voice!
Live and measure the impact and the type of influence that our posture generates.
To live and feel, then, the importance and the impact that the 3 axes of the 3 dimensions of Brain Gym have on our Posture of life, our Presence, our Power, our Openness, etc...
Let's place our axes directly and our Royalty opens.

Hybrid: Where do I begin with a child/adult who is differently-abled

We are often taught how to draw out from our students and clients and follow their innate intelligence.
When working with adults and children who are differently able we come across different situations: can the child speak, make sense of what they are seeing, understanding what you are asking them to do?
Or does he know where his body is, or how to use his arms and legs deliberately?
Many questions come to us when we work with differently able people, the main one being what is the priority.
How do I communicate with them if I they cannot talk?
What is that they need the most?
Many time I visit schools were children are requested to sit and write when they are not capable of sitting still or letting go of an object.
Is that something that would bring the kid the opportunity to be more independent, to be happier?
In this presentation I would like to share with you the program that Cecilia Koester developed to be the reason why someone smiles today.

In person: I remain stable in movement and I move while remaining anchored

This workshop proposes a meeting between Brain Gym and Qi gong (chinese energetic gymnastics) and asks us about the different tempos of movement, from immobility to mobility, through slowness.
In Qi Gong, we like to say that we must "find the dynamic in the static and the static in the dynamic", according to the famous principle of Yin and Yang.
In Brain Gym®, we move to learn, even if the movement is sometimes done internally, as in the ECAP "drinking water".
By practising movements from both disciplines together, we will experience these different tempos and how they can coexist within us to give us a better balance.

Hybrid: 1+1=1 The Unique Relationship supported by Brain Gym

1+1= 1 is the effective result when we enter into a deep relationship. It doesn't matter if I am me with me, if I am me with the other, or if I am me with a group: it is always a unique and irreplaceable relationship if the quality of listening and observation is done with the whole body and these deep essences, without conditionings, memories and expectations.

Hybrid: Discovery of mass measurement in equilibrium

I propose a session around the discovery of the Roberval balance.
I realised it this year in CP class through several games.
In pre-activity:
- The balance on a finger: with a stick, in sensation, I create the movement and the balance of the balance in my body
- Tic and toc, which is the heaviest? I appropriate the notion of weight and balance through a game of listening and balance.
The Brain Gym® learning menu feeds my experiences and enriches my sensory and spatial perceptions.
Children have the joy of discovering that they can use objects in balance, help each other and discover their own balance.

In person: When words flow...

My teachers used to say thay I was “an average pupil, lacking of self-confidence”, and though I was an exceptional child. During fourteen years as a school teacher, I have always committed to allowing my pupils work with pleasure and confidence! How could I allow everyone reach their full potential?
When I discovered Brain Gym®, it was like a revelation. I’ve been learning it and created class balances, specific to my pupils’ needs.
Today, I am using this experience to accompany teachers in order to allow them to introduce movement and pleasure of learning in their classrooms.
In this workshop, I propose that we build a writing supported by the movement.
What if writing became child’s play?!

Online: General Indications of Active Unintegrated Primitive Reflexes in Clinical Practice Using Brain Gym.

Active retained early and primitive reflexes are often the underlying cause of
many common observations and issues in clinical practice. In this paper, I
discuss my kinesiology and retained primitive reflex experience from over 26 years working in clinical practice and some ways of identifying people with retained early and primitive reflexes. I will focus on observations and
difficulties, including hydration and muscle monitoring issues, difficulties
speaking/participating in a session, persistent under- or over-energy,
switching, and how to identify active reflexes when doing some of the Brain
Gym® movements.

Online: Reinventing the wheel of attachment through creative movements

Creativity is key to our growth as it is a combination of curiosity, problem solving, novelty and positivity.
Thus, nurturing our creativity requires nurturing our ability to enjoy our state of curiosity with patience, calm and by trusting the process of problem solving.
We may reset our vision each time, to enjoy our experiences with the of the beginner and finally expand the energies that channelise our positivity into our system throughout the creative process.
These four essentials are deep internal processes, and they are best anchored through attachment.
Attachment keeps the interplay of these components alive and active throughout the process of creativity, being in stillness or in motion.
The focus of the presentation will be the neurobiology of attachment.
We will see examples of practical implications that depict it as a powerful engine, that drives creativity.

In this creative workshop on "singing together", "movement" will be understood in the sense of inside/outside (I dare, I express myself), but also in the sense of sharing (I draw closer to other people they come to me in a pleasant and enriching common experience).
We will PACE as a vocal warm-up, then sing a song in unison and polyphony.
Specific Brain Gym® movements will be offered to facilitate our learning.
This workshop is fun and joyful. Through singing and a strong common experience, we approach the notion of place, pleasure, doing things together, daring.
Brain Gym® is a great support in this experience.
It opens the field of possibilities by connecting us to our feelings at each stage of learning.

Online: Your Movement Habits Create Your Life

We all have our patterns of movement in our daily lives. These patterns both support and limit us. By taking the time to explore our habits through the Laban lens of weight, space, time and flow, we can gain great insight into ou rmovement signatures. Once we are grounded in ourselves we can then joyfully expand our range of expression and interaction with the world. This gives us greater options for response and much more capactity to adapt and discover creative solutions. How we move is who we are. To be fully who we are, we need to embrace movement diversity. Exploring contrasts in weight and time is a fantastic beginning with delicious rewards.

Hybrid: Balancing the unborn

What if your last 30, 40 or 50 years had been very different because you could have talked to your parents during your pregnancy?
If you could have balanced your challenges from the beginning?
That's what I want to talk about in this lecture.
What moves unborn babies, how can they communicate through kinesiology?
When preparing for birth, many people think about the mothers, but what about the unborn children?
They too have fears, difficulties in the family system or emotional challenges and they want to express their love above all.
The holistic approach of developmental kinesiology helps with a gentle start into life with lifelong positive effects. And of course, it offers support even if your start in life is decades ago.
